What a fantasic weekend...si Well, first it was Pride and then last night I went to see the fabulous masked men of Mexican Wrestling Lucha Libre. It was a last minute decision egged on by my flatmate who felt I was becoming a bit of a hermit. I was dragged out of the flat, not quite kicking and screaming but you know, easily done and bundled off to Camden Town. At The Roundhouse I was introduced to the wonders of taco's, tequila, frozen margarita's and a cabaret worth an oscar. I am a convert. Masked wrestling has become a love overnight. I cheered, booed, clapped and shouted my way through each bout with the enthusiasm of a small in their first funfair. IT WAS BRILLIANT. On the way out we bought fake wrestling masks and play fought down the road to the pub. EXCELLENT. I urge you all if you want a fun night out that takes you back to being a again then find a Lucha Libre match near you or check it out on line.
