Not all V day is a happy day

I remembered very well. Every year, he will buy white roses for his late wife.

For someone who still love his wife, he sure is a Mr Romantic/Passionate.

Its sad but he does showed how much he love for her.

There, a basket full of white roses. Thats gonna cost him a few hundreds (ordered from my store). Even so, he doesnt care a bit.

Thats the Mister.. that gals has been dying to meet.

V touching.

I do remembe an Eng. poem - a story - the late husband arranges flower shop (before he dies) to send roses to his widow wife's door the same moment on every V day.

"Be my Valentine!"

Toukki,
It would have been better if he had bought them for her while she was living. Did he? Instead, that's the kinda guy I'd like to meet.

Hi Ann,

That is a very lovely story. I guess with Valentine's Day coming up it kind of brings up these moments - whether happy or sad. I hope he comes to your shop for many years to come.

I haven't been on blogs for a while. But I have finally written something after being silent for many months. I guess it sort of explains it.

Thanks,

T.

I tend to agree with MyDoggie. I sure hope that the man I meet will love me and appreciate me when I'm alive and kicking.
Love me as who I'm in the relationship with him...not when after I die or fall out of love!

Yes, i agreed. Everyday should be V day. BUT nowadays V day is treated as "competition". You get to feel the pang of jealousy when others get the presents while u are left empty-handed. Thats how the "i-send-theflowers-to-myself-secretly" came into this world. As a matter of fact. This is nothing wrong. Because im a person that rewards myself when i have work very hard.
