Flowers seasons Chinese always say "tau hua jie". I guessed im having "tau hua jie" this year. For no reasons why.... ive met 2 new guys that likes me. Because of the age barriers, everything doesnt seemed to work. Left with liking and respect lol. Im sure everyone have this type of feelings right?

Unfortunely, I use to believe that age never mattered. I have now changed my position on that belief because of my own experiences with having girlfriends ho were in their late 20's while I was in my 40's. I use to be so liberal and make statement such as, "Age is a state of mind." and it is for many people. but what does a 42 year old man have in common with a 28 year old woman? It was told by a professional phychologist, just as a rule of thumb, never to date anyone who is 4 years older or 4 years younger than you are because you start to lose commonality. It also begins to place a person in a one up or a one down position in the relationship, rather than that of being equals. This has been my dilemma in most relationships for many years until I started to date ladies around my own age. MUCH BETTER!

Toukki, You forgot to give the meaning of those 3 chinese words...that loving feeling , seem so hard to understand at times...

I bow my head as I know that these feelings can tie up your thoughts - day and night. It's good to know they are there. Some seem to just have no feelings at all. An age difference can work but not always - but I believe that no-one should be 'excluded' from the possibilities of love because of their age. The mind and the heart are often in conflict. So maybe when the mind and heart agree about someone, you have found love? Maybe I'm not the best one to comment. I'd like to believe that everyone has these feelings. May peace be found in your mind and your heart Ann. TG

Tau hua jie means having the liking feelings towards several guys at the same time. Yes. I believe AGE is really a barrier and a requirement. Constantly people always say love is blind. I say.... if love is blind, then yer eyes must be blind (considering the mind is blind too).

what is tau hua jie?????? take me a long time to figure what you were trying to say there....but thanks to jenny200588  lolz. I can sure know the feeling ezpecially when you make one word wrong  <hugs toukki> ltns dear girl.....so how many boys are chasing you every day now?

I do not ask for your like or respect...bring your flute....I have a cello....we can make music, and not worry about what is in common or what is different. An age barrier?....I can always wait here for you to climb over it....

Toukki hmmmm...I never hear about the parlance"tau hua jie"  ?but i know "tao hua yun" maybe they have the similar meaning? the feeling Just hope you happy!

Huh!! Not to be 4 years younger or older!!??? What if the person already in mid 30s or even 40s but still have the personality of a 20s??? I believe the personality is more important than the age number. I tend to follow the heart too...but hey...been burned so I guess follow the heart with a reminder to the mind that to monitor the heart!! Ash

adhikapokoya: Interesting ways to put it that expression. However, he is not "GOOD" enough for me to climb over the age barrier. Yeah... until im much older... perhaps he would prefer someone much more younger right? *nod deb* male's heart is so difficult to predict LOL... Ive followed my heart. Ive decided to occupy my remaining 3 times (before i settle down) with courses and skills. Cant waste anymore time...
