Thanks. Bali is still suffering psycologically after the 2 bombings. However, I grew up in Ireland during the 70s & 80s during the height of the IRA bombing campaign and I say ya cannot let extremists dictate your life! The balanese took it very personally but now it's time to move on and look to building a future; they want tourists to come but don't realise fully that we all come to Bali because of the people! In fact, bali reminds me very much of the Ireland I grew up in - children ride/walk to school, play in the streets; people smile & say hello on the street, people respect others. Even down to the rubbish thrown everywhere; finally Ireland woke up to this disgrace and cleaned itself up (am hoping bali will too soon).

Thks for your vivid description of Bali. Nice world. U went as a traveller but end up settling down there? Ya compared to civil war in Ireland, bombing's nothing. Life goes on whatever sounds it produced.
