A Time To Love One of my favorite chinese actress is Vicky Zhao Wei. So when the movie A Time To Love came out on DVD, I went and got it right away, without realizing that it had no english sub title!! Oh well, I watched the whole movie in Mandarin and understood the movie by the scenery and music but couldn't understand a word of the poetry. Too bad someone help me...who watched it. Vicky Zhao Wei is beautiful in this movie without too much make up. A love story of impossible love because of the hatred between the two families. It's a nice simple movie. It reflects everyday life in asian family. A boy and a girl grew up together and fell in love with each other in the early 80s. Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet inspired them to insist on their love, but that love was still too fragile to resist pressure from their families. He was sent abroad seven years ago and she has waited for seven years until he returns now. Can the love between them be everlasting?
