How new is your lover?

Can you answer?

How long can a lover be new?

How long can you keep her/him new?

I find it funny when an ex-lover celebrates (with sour grape in his mouth) his/her ex and call his/her successor as 'your new lover'.

Is there old and new?

The problem is, among the thousands of possible mates, what are our chances to meet one of those partners with whom there's little need for adaptation, with whom we effortlessly live? If we find one, I, the old intellectual but still kind of romantic guy, I think she/he can really be forever new...

yEAP, YOU ARE REPEATING THE THEME 'ENJOY FREEDOM IN LOVE'.

i personally belive in this. U r damn true, but only partly true, when you say "That's why the private sphere is the only place where we can safely be our true selves, and what a drag if, there too, we have to adapt and make a lot of efforts! When can we be as we prefer, as we like, without giving a damn about social rules?!"

Because freedom in the tiny priviate sphere is maintained by two persons (supposed only two in it), neither one of these two should spoil his/her freedom by depriving the other's. So there still needs a little bit care of some social norms if he/she is a part of the society, which is a fact, who is not? I mean, care and consideration is a mutual thing, not individual in your romantic world of two.

Yes we Cantonese feel ashamed for our body figure in Dalian. It's a nice, superb clean city with men and women all look like superb models in the street.

Wish one day the pretty horse-policewomen would throw a glance on you...

Ann,
I am fine just very busy working. Yr pic in this dress looks like a bride.
