Chinese New Year Boost - Macau Street View Wooh, sea of flowers, sea of lanterns, sea of people. CNY is coming. Every shops are jammed w/shoppers, some w/ long queue waiting to pay. Gold shops, jewllery shops, expensive consumer goods shops, the items glittering at shoppers eyes. Local ppl, Chinese mainland high spenders, Hong Kong cross-sea tourist,foreign travellers, all become one sand in the Macau street. Even the traditional Chinese pastry shops are crowded. Tons of almond baked cookies will be carried out of Macau to China, to Hong Kong. I go to Hotel Lisboa to buy their famous cookies, 3 cans of dif. nuts. Heavy, really heavy but nice food gift. My grandma will like it,baby Doy will too. I enjoy very much seeing this thick-cloud-like street goers. I like to see ppl healthy, happy. Now I expect to flow inside the flower street in a Chinese city on CNY eve. So beautiful, so colorful. We are happy here. But we know there are many ppl suffering somewhere in the world...huuuh |
