How did I spend my CNY?

Hey...Gong Hei Fat Choi-oi......

I come back Macau and check Chinese FriendFinder now. Today is the 11th day of CNY and we are still in CNY mood until the 15th day of Lantern Festival (Yuan Xiao Jie).

I'm happy Toukki is interested in sharing, list below my activities in CNY in China mailand:

1. On NY eve, I went around flower market and chose a big lucky golden tangerine tree, a peach branch (which brings love) and decorated them with Lai Si n flowers. Can show u pic later.

2. On NY day, I went w/ a family group to temple to do some offering and worship, to burn the 1st joss stick. Many monks busying there. We even played shuttlecock to sweat in front of the temple.

3. On Chu San (3rd day of CNY) , we drove to Zhaoqing to climb the famous Dinghu mountain. Because I invited my 80 years old but v healthy grandma, sometimes we took car w/ electrical appearance but actually uses fuel. The spot was full of tourists, maintained well but less charming than 10 years ago. We had a vegetarian lunch in the temple restaurant. Not good, a ripoff. On Chu Si(4th day), we climbed a local hill w/ my 4-yr-old niece Doy. Surprisingly, she headed the line.

4. Apart from these, ma-joh, eating, seeing faces not seen for 1 year, chatting, I dont know ma-joh so only the latter three I could take part in. Oh, still, not shamefully, I received lots of Lai Si, even from those younger but married ones. They always asked, get married soon! I just nodded yes, yes.

5. Yeah I also visited my home village. The green brick and mud brick house is very old (100 years) and vacant. The Swallow's nest is still there on living room's wall. Regretfully, I forgot to burn joss sticks for my ancestors. Forgive me.

6. This year I was so lazy that I did not call any school or university classmates or friends for CNY greetings. Guess greetings can be at anytime?

On Chu Liu (6th day), I went traveling. (Before boarding on bus, lovely Doy appeared surprisingly w/ her mother on a motorcycle and we had a desert at a herbal tea shop). May share w/ you story on the train and on the trip by later posts.

Ok, life is going on, on, on......
