Farewell to my shadow

I am in a shadow room - an art installation playing with light and self-projection.

It works this way: every 4 minuntes the light will turn on and cast visitors' shadows on the wall; the shadow will stay for 3 min. and disappear gradually. What's remarkable, there's a winging butterfly on one wall.

Me and several ppl entre, so dark! endless darkness. Slowly, i can see shadows moving, ppl's figures disappear, just shadows we are! Suddently, some bright lightbeam rotates, just 3 seconds, off. Immdly, i see myself, as a shadow, printed on the wall (the wall's lighter color). My shadow stays there, still, motionless, it's part of the visible artist's creation. My figure standing against my shadow distinctly and firmly on the wall, i cant distinguish which one is ME.

The next time, I make a more lively pose, stretching out my right hand, body dancing, under the butterfly. I notice, as soon as light turns on, the butterfly opens wings. i sculp my shadow on the wall, this time, involving in my own creation.

Somehow magic, looking at that ME, ink-like but even hair's fiber can be seen, I linger.

Yet I have to farewell to my shadow, and, it has to disappear in 3 minutes, from where it was created. After all, no shadow will stay long.

"In order to be, be more than what you are."

To "be what you are" is overflown, to "be more than what you are" is unbearably light/heavy. No place for you to be because the world is less than you.

I dunno, dunno...
