The Half-naked Chefs What's the image of chefs in your mind? 1)White chef's uniform w/ a high white chef hat? Big, fat happy man? 2) Handsome, shy guy with a gentle smile on the pale face? 3)Stylish, chic like a fashion desinger? All is possible. The media has made some star chefs famous and present them as artists. I agree a chef must be an artist, who is able to be creative through culinery arts; and he must be a person loves and enjoys most of life, more than other ppl, because they practise the very comprehensive, fundamental, tangible, chewable, smellable, and visual art. Food is surely the basic of any creature's life. (So i deem if one does not enjoy food, how can he have life power and enjoy life?) I took a pastry and desert course at the Tourism Institute before. Our teacher belongs to type 2). He made magical arts out of flour,cream,milk,sugar,butter,eggs...He would turn red face if we girls looked too much at him. He looked young 20-sth, slim, handsome. We were surprised to know at last that he's a father of 3 ! And last night, i saw another type at a small Thai restaurant supplying chic Thai cuisine. It's them triggered my writing of this. We 6 were all ladies/girls. The kitchen has a small window through where I could see a tall, naked figure moving, maybe flying pots (a cooking technique). I told them, well, naked chef?! Soon our dishes came out, so did the chefs, not one, but two. Exept a mini. apron which they joked to cover the teats, and a dark blue tattoo fully on the left arm, the two very young, tall, good figured chefs was half naked. I never saw tattoo on a chef! Funny, we looked around, the other tables were also women. We teased that because of the two half naked chefs, only women flocked here. These half-naked chefs are actually brothers running their own business. They are really creative chefs, not only fm the subverted dressing - half nakedness, but also fm their unique cuisines that you cant find elsewhere in town. Mint, I dunno the chef's uniform is more hygienic or his skin  What do you think?To clarify, in Macau, we dont have such restaurant like crazy Bangkok. The two lad. chefs are Chinese, they just being comfortable and showing off their character.

dear davinci, Yr washing hand b4 p theory sounds.Good reversed thinking by not being an obedient boy to moms! Yeah, reversion can be applied to many, if not any, customs and traditions, daily conducts and logic which we, little or old, deem correct. And it's doubts that make science renewed and inventions borne.
