Face yourself truly in blogging - fm"Blog, and then what?" by Xu Jinglei Why blog? Xu Jinglei is a Chinese actress/director, and blogger, as well. She acted in the Tsui Hak movie SEVEN SWORDS. Her blog name is Lao Xu (old Xu) at sina. Since open, over 10 million viwers have viewed her blog. She writes often, recording down things, big or small, long or short, abt life, movie work, friends, everything, as tiny as to eating a Chinese carrot. What matters? She's a celebrity, she's a beauty. Once in a while, she posts a sexy tank top on the blog. Pppl enjoying her blog becoz of this, and not only bcoz of this, more bcoz of her honesty on facing herself, especially when she's a beauty celebrity. Regretfully, i didnt name my blog as Lao Xu, my Mandarin family name is also Xu, too. If my blog is Lao Xu, I will have 300,000 readers per day. They just crash in by mistake, aha. Dream  Below is an extracted translation fm her Blog book "Blog, and then what?" ----- I think, for persons like us, the greatest social responsibility should be for the expression of true wills and actions, althought it may not be absolutely meaningful, because human is indeed complicated, so is ego, and when we are in the crowd, we are more complicated. Most of the time, I feel it's very difficult to return to our original ego. This perplexs me everyday. But it does not stand in my way to take up my responsibility which i feel necessary: to record down life and feelings to their truest extent. We can have shallow knowledge and little learning, but cant be untrue. We can be untrue but we must know that we are untrue. We can learn to gain knowledge but untruth will turn into a quality in our character, which will be like a shadow follows us. Therefore, being able to face ourselves truly is a basic quality in us. p.s.
