The Infatuation and Danger of Internet and Blog

Forewords:

Voo. A perplexed kaleidoscope, when internet and blog mix with reality, what’s real? what’s unreal? When virtual world mingle with real world, a tug of war btw the two worlds, a maze. In cold war time, we had three worlds. Now how many worlds we have in total? Re-think and re-define.

Three hot cases in China, full of infatuation and danger as well.

Case 1 Claim Back Love Debt through Blogging:

When we cheer for the greatness of blogging, be wary abt its danger and destructive effect on life if blogging is abused.

Two week ago, a stun to Chinese blogging world. A female graduate, 24, uses blog as a service platform for claiming back over RMB10,000 love-cost fm her ex-lover, a 30 sth office worker. Evidences were shown on her post, various bills, their former love notes, chatting records of the guy’s betrayal w/ some other woman, etc.. The male leading role was then under spotlight of the public. No way to work and live as normal as before. Woohoo, blog becomes a woman’s weapon to get back what she thinks she has lost. And so powerful it is. She has one million mouths and eyes other than her own.

Afterwords: Today, internet plays an important role in our daily life. It immerses with us. Love via internet, regardless you meet your love through it or fm reality, is inevitable because internet is an communication carrier. Emails replacing letters, instant chatting replace phonecalls, blogging replaces publishing or releasing on medias. We cant escape internet and its subsidiary functions. It offers such things like msn, skype,, Chinese QQ, and more. If lovers in love, friends in friendship, very naturally they build up friend network to share; they use every means of internet service to keep in touch and show love/friendship. Chinese searching engine baidu has launched a service on net to dedicate songs to whom you care if only you pay two baidu coins. Just type in names, and you can search for results. Who can escape the net’s smart eye? Therefore, communication on internet brings convenience as well as complications once your love bond is broken. You need to delete her/him fm your network; you need to inform your friends to update them; you need to answer queries that concern w/ your change. After termination of a relationship, if the other not-willing-to-give-up one still sends you endless emails and interfere with you, you need to think about change email address. Oh, it’s as tough as moving to a new house. And the net is like a net, it’s vast, its touch stretches to everywhere; it covers you all. You cant escape it. Or, you can escape once, you meet it twice.

Case 2 abt Netgaming and Outside Marriage Affair “Tong Shu Gate Affair”

So controversial, so theatrical that even CCTV brings it to its golden time live show.

Case 3 Bus Uncle of Hong Kong
A video attracting 3 millions viewers in 6.5 millions residents Hong Kong.

To-be-continued.
