Love that costs life I ask the world, what is the thing love that makes people vow with life and death? ‒ extracted fm a Chinese Song poem In feudalistic time, free love was not allowed, that’s why we have the Butterfly legend; in contemporary time, the society is much more free but still we have stories of how lovers sacrifice lives to worship love. So miserable! Two cases: 1. A couple of young lovers of Yunan, the girl, 18, died of accident. Firstly, her boyfriend held a wedding ceremony w/ her dead body in the hospital; later then, the boy committed suicide right in front of her grave. Finally, they were buried together. 2. In my hometown a city in Guangdong, two young student just graduated fm middle school fell in love. But got opposition fm the parents citing that they were too young to love. Desperately, during their dating on the riverside, the girl jumped into the river. To rescue his girlfriend, the boy also jumped. But in vain, two bodies floated up days later. What a disastrous sorrow it is to their parents, who crazily hunted for them during their disappearance. In ancient time, love that costs life was such a helpless thing. But nowadays, it’s a sign of weakness and narrow mind. Not that love is too deep, but that vision is not far. Not that how affectionate the love is, but that love is mis-interpreted. After all, under current social circumstances, there’s some way out. One step forward or backward would have made a difference. Or, becoz of being young, love is so pure that cant bear a sand and even life? I am sighing for this kind of love that costs life, is it becoz I am old and worldly? pic. Impatient love.. they want something all encompassing..and have not found the parts of themselves that has to be individualized, and remain so.. in order for love to be something buit upon what is two individuals.. not two trying to be a clone into each other.. some people do things, as a vengence, as their way of so call teaching the other person a lesson, in the sense of efforts to install a life long guild trip within the other.. another who chooses to kill themselves because a lover is gone, are trying to prove a devotion that ignores the self.. and thus they are seeking a somewhat selfish martyrdom.. it's something that is an imbalance in and of understanding of how to love, and how to live and how living and love is a mixture of much.. This is a senario of "desperate love"... and no desperate love is good, it's a delusionary self consumption into a fantasy of what is not of the actuality of individuality.. some people commit and emotional sucide when a lover leaves, they sabatoge themselves.. in every way imaginable, and they do it consciencously.. and knowingly.. that is how and why they half heartedly love the next person, as they choose the relation not to succeed, and they in their quest convince themselves the other person is the only one for them.. and they set out to justify it.. in their minds.. and thru thier actions, to get a result that .. supports the flase hope they hold for what is gone.. people are self defeatist in so many ways... and they attach logic to it, and thus delude themselves.. and give up on their heart and the wisdom's beckoning .. and they seek.. to justify what their love is and it's strength to be loving.. by seeking to establish a series of events, they can.. attach to claiming their devotions is total to one who is gone.. and they become bitter, angry , delusional, irritated and in many ways anything,... that will make certain they are unlovable, and unable to love another.. some do it by screwing anything that passes by, and some do it by claiming to fall in love, one after the next... and never pausing to find out whom they are and what they actually feel, and to visibly acknowledge their faults, as well as their self destruct patterns, and they continue to seek out situation, where they can claim that they are clinging to what they know is gone... such one's will not look at themselves and see it was a two way thing, they were not as good as they precieve themselves in "afterthought"..because they know they engaged some vengeful moments, some conniving moments and etc.. but they make themselves.. angelic in their minds.. and fault free.. and tht is what stifles their growth to be.. even themselve and able to love another.. or even themselves.. very vast subject..
