Finding an answer: rain, umbrella and love Crazy rain season here. It harms to some places in China. Quite often i am stuck somewhere as i never like carrying an umbrella; quite often i manage it by my means, a bit wet but cool. However, some extrodinary ocassion I would like an umbrella. One night, just 2-3 minutes walk away fm home, stopped by a suddent overwheming storm under a shelter. I held my breath upon seeing the nature's power of pouring, lightning, and hearing its terrific thunder. Fragility grasped me there. I wanted an umbrella. Yet who would send me an umbrella? And i would not call anybody out to this dangerous storm,should it be lover,family or friend. At last, i had to run home after 40mins wait, rain water hanging on face and hair. But i'd like to know your answer to this quest: If on a rainy moment, your gf/bf phone you and ask you to deliver an umbrella since they are in your neighborhood. Would you do accordingly? This is a test  . It's rainning outside.

I feel at ease in rain or snow, although many see it frightening. While seeing everyone else scurrying back and forth, it is very calming for me as the streets become empty to make way for nature. Despite everything we as humans have achieved, we still bow to the power of nature. Anyway, the short answer is sure, why not.

you should read my post " saving the dogs" it's about a rainy moment, I had to rush home and get the dogs inside vbecause of the rain.. so I'm quite sure.. delivering an umbrella might be nice.. and it's even better if it's a woman who is asking it to be delivered... as I try to keep some nice towels in the house... and always a spare "extra large tee shirt"..  actullay, I had a sitauation once, where a girl came by soaking wet.. and she stood right there in the front room and dis-robed, and politely asked me for a towel.. " goodness I love it when it rains and the time factors fall into place.."

Well, wind, flower, snow and moon is the most acclaimed topic for ancient Chinese poets. Now for us Oh, guys and gals here are all loving and caring persons. You all say yes to my question. It surprises me! Except that mag&sonyia forget to answer. While writing I joked to myself who answered YES, i would fall in love with him. But how can i love so many ppl, both female and male?

Mint/Soyia, Me too. I hate umbrella a very extra thing and i like rain dropping down on me, if no thunder and lightning. We are all rain enjoyer. In my childhood, i witnessed a young lady relative died of thunder/lightning, i am scared of it. You know why i dared to rush into the storm? Bcoz i jumped my wet whole to swim soon after home. But on the way fm home to swim, just 3 mins walk also, the thunder was strongerly howling down, which frightened me to trembling. My neighbor friend said i was crazy going out fm safe place to swim in such a stormy night.

Touch Hope you use up your towels soonest and store some again. HD If the storm does not bring harm to mankind, stormy weather provides much more contents than a sunny one. You aske: Are you kidding me? To run into the storm to save my man? I surely must be hopelessly in love to overcome my fear. I shall enjoy the power of love. No, if you love him you should care for his safety, and now that you are in a shelter, why not wait for the storm to calm down but not ask him to risk in the storm? Remember my last post? If the boy didnt jump to the river to save his girl, he would survive. He jumped bcoz he cared her and brush aside his own safety. Is it better if he didnt jump and minimize the lose to one life only?

gourmet Nice idea fm you an experienced lover. But calling a cab in rainy Macau would never be practical. No cab at all. Would you summon him up to walk in the rain w/ you under one umbrella? Dunno why cars crazily speed up while they see an pedestrian in the rain. Probably they think the pedistrian is a ghost daring out there. Watching and listening to rain w/b a romantic thing, alone or not alone.
