A View abt Thanks to a special someone inspired this post. Last night when walking close to the Zhuhai Customs hall, a little boy, 6-7 year old, came up to us like a tailing little doy, asking for money. In a red fake Manchester United t-shirt, he endeavored to keep close pace w/ our adult's big pace, uttering fast begging words like a numb performer on the stage. Like a voice magnet, he followed us for some distance until the entry. I wondered, who and what transformed this boy into a cold, numb, professional beggar while he who should be sitting at home and in classroom to be spoiled and taught? Sad comparison of scenarios! Usually this would put me into dilemma: if I give money, i directly/indirectly encourage his "boss" - his parents or a manager - and this kind of using as a money tool deed; if I dont give, i would feel a bit guilty: the would hang on working all night w/o earning enough quota. Pls tell me how to? There are so many miserable in the world, being physically and mentally abused. Why we need to have our own, the ones that come out fm our ovums and sperms? Please love those who have unfortunately come to this world. Many means available to extend our care/love to the suffering around you or far fm you. They are our ! And, dont give a new birth if you are not sure of his/her future happiness. I felt sorry for the boy last night. I didnt give any help. (A question: man is more keen on passing on his genes than woman? ) |

Don't usually see children begging in the streets of Toronto, although there are kids out selling chocolate bars for supposed charities. Often these are a rip off and quite often the kids never get paid. As for other beggars, I usually give something although not always. I always give something to young women. I have some street people that I have known for years. We know each other by name. Most of these people suffer from some form of mental illness, have lost everything and it is amazing to listen to their stories. There is little real help for these poor souls. There but for the grace of God go all of us.

Why we need to have our own, the ones that come out fm our ovums and sperms? They are our children! Thank you all for comments and contribution to this post. Didnt you all ignore the merit and discussion point of it? May i draw your attention and beg for your opinions?

sonyia, I mean the world already has got too many children but some live unhappily. We can treat all other ppl's children as our own children. Do you agree? Dont cry, babe.
