Dont believe#1 Reading is not believing We think we live history if we happen to live within a specific period when some great historical events happened. We think we know about the truth in this information explosion era. We think we can tell the true fm the lies with our clear, pure mind and eye, probing into the many sources of information. Dont believe in what you read, especially those claim to reflect the truth - history books, biography, news. In fact, history is written by persons in the know to who dont know; biography by a flattery critic to who dont criticize; news, incl. photos and pictures are censored by the ruling group to their ruled, by the marketing officers to their consumers. See how their rhetorics are: Nanjing incident, actually, Nanjing massacre. Iraq war, actually, it's American invasion to Iraq. Terrorists, actually, men/women who fight for their national ideal and the right for existence/livelihood. Israel Offensive in Lebanon?, actually, it's Israeli invasion to Lebanon. ...more, more... Too boring? OK. If you are reading a love letter fm a woman, dont believe in what she writes throughout the letter, pls only pay attention to the p.s. line, and, believe me - this is her true words. |

Now belief is not spiritual any more but a product of the propaganda machine. When I was a young student in mainland China, I believed our country propagandize a lot. Now I know some other countries are far more better in this - more cunningly, more invisiblely -

Mint, You will never see the real brutality happening there - what you see is after trimming. I am not an extremist and nobody is born one. We should value every life, no matter they are in Africa, Britain or Middle East. But pls pay attention to the cause of terrorists. Who makes them? Is state-terrorism not terrorist? Why they target the innocent civilians, who are the sacrifice of their country's misdeed and unjust policy? Becoz they dont have the equal conditions to launch war in the front warfield. I dont want to be provocative, but pls be reminded, there are far more ppl dying, a thousandfold, millionfold, than the number died in the very limited, actually, weak, terrorist attack. I weep for those innocent ppl died fm these attach, and I curse on the root and cause for these. Pls dont think a British, an American's life are more treasurable then a hundred, a thousand in Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Sudan... Do you see "Munich"? For country's sake, the countries also conduct terrorist acts in name of country!

weak, terrorist attack By saying weak, I mean the way they use reflect their weakness, bcoz they have no other way - negociation, country to contry talk, or worse, an equally fighting war. Pls dont misunderstand.

Just as if both Great Powers would like to be geograpically closer to each other -- I doubt this closeness is due to love. Interesting point. They want to be close becoz of the need to grip on and spy on each other, so they overcome the geographic distance to come closer, so they can dance together on the stage. Sure, due to love, just as all the lovers.
