Friends,

So some (goan, toukki, bobo, virgo) answer 'both',some 'happy alone'. Guys like EZ2 and mintlook forward to happy together.

Happy alone or happy together? I think the happiness of being happy alone and together is different, significantly. Mold happy alone so far implies one day she will turn to happy together. But EG, some ppl will never b happy w/ others.

Most of time, I must struggle to decide the scenario for myself - alone or together? So easy to summon up somebody to be a company or to join into the group.

I wrote this simple question line before I was heading for a trip to the adjacent city. Finally, I chose 'happy alone'. This state is much more, mmh, how to say? More blissful? enjoyable? totally free? adventurous? facing one's true ego? I guess the most important is that 'happy alone' makes us listen to our own heart's voice, which is neglected when we are happy together.

You can be alone but not lonely, or worse, lonely but not alone.

I will walk on the life journey swinging btw happy alone and together. So good to have alternative.

Philosopher DVC,
Mint has fed back you an earthy answer. 'Happy to be somewhat unhappy', who else can be so conscious? But you are meandering my question of happy alone or together.

DVC,

I didnt.

Your happiness is the high sublime one. Mine and many other ppl's are that sort of secular, skin-deep happiness.

If you tickle me, I would laugh happily. This sort of skin-deep happiness. It can be reached easily, those slight and short happinesses. But of course it takes a simple and stupid happy mind.

DVC<

Cant help laughing reading your deep-thinking writing. I wonder what a a man of superior attainment or a cultivated person living in seclusion you are!

You just dont look at the same layer of every issue like other common ppl look at. Thank you, I learn fm you.

Solitude & solitary hobbies:

gourmet,

Agree your analyst of the artists' creative solitude. Indeed in solitude we are not alone, so much imagination/memory/creation going on and around.

I am not a real artist but i enjoy solitude at some degree by writing and playing Chinese instrument. I feel more myself being alone.

DVC,

Understood, understood, un-der-s-tood...All in a word, difference and trying to be different, look differently, think differently, react differetly...running thru your self and life all the long way?

As to happiness, I really do think that nobody -- except liars -- would be able to stand it for a very long time . Honest. And -- no offence intended -- I do think that people who say they are happy either use the word in a very private sense or are simply mistaken about their own states.

I do think happiness can stand for a long time, it is in our temperament, it lies in how we view life - if only we view it in happy and positive way. Our happiness theory will definitely affect our sentiment. Like the weather, we may have bad days but the belief in sunny days would finally come may keep us happy and in expecation. This belief is very important, like a string we must hold tight to. Conclusion: be content w/ what we have and the heaven's mandate no matter how, thus reaching happiness.

There are some ppl are hard to please though they should be more happy, merely bcoz of their viewpoints of happiness. Aha, yup, some dark holes persistently prevails in their perspective of life.
