And Macau is waging a mini Intl Film and Video Festival to be presented in April, with the first-ever allout Made-in-Macau dramatic motion picture premiere, directed by Vincent Hui, a persistent movie lover who strides out with scarce financial support. Yunnan New Film Project involves a new team of talented female filmmakers and a fresh take on the use of technology in the creative process, in the hope to stimulate the Chinese film industry and encourage China's growing cultural dialogue with the global community.
