Love You Less Than Life

Rising sun on the misty sea touches moments of joy,
Sunrays running through the clouds of sorrows;
Morning dews on the fresh flowers ticks the heart dry,
Fragrance rubbing through the air of moisture,
I confess that you are part of my life nights and days.

Sweetness is running all over the garden of soul,
Searching the tiny spirit swelling into a bloom;
Stars hanging high singing the melody lyrical,
Wandering for the light stretching to a flame,
I swear that I love you less than the precious life.

When I pile the words long and high, I only take writing as a kind of catharsis, so when you fail to see any beauty or sense in my poems, say what you want to say. But "Love You Less Than Lif" is something true for me, and I also hope that you can share the same point of view as I do. Good luck to all!

I swear that I love you less than the precious life.

I suggest that you hate him less than the unavoidable death.

Sunflower, long time no see as i didnt like seeing you lost in yourself. Now you've come back. Amen.

Swallow, Thanks much!

Why should I hate? For whom should I show my hatred? Showing my hatred to a stranger? A bit ridiculous!

If there is someone I should hate, it is my ex-husband. Strange I could have shown my frustrations and disappointments, but I failed to show any hatred to him. There is no hatred in MY dictionary.

I get lost in myself? Well, dear Swallow, my life is well planned, but there is no need for me to tell every one how my life is planned.

Good luck!

i like you Elmo. It is not often one hears a criticism of the weeping willow tree. My, My Fleur, if there was someone you should harbour bad feelings toward it should be your ex-husband. I am sick of the modern trend to being "best friends" with your divorced partner. In there somewhere, someone did someone wrong. You don't bottle it in, that destroys you! Don't get mad get even! Oriental stoicism just isn't it, it just says if you liked kicking my butt, come and kick it again.

Rinpoche, Yes, I have a long way to get to the unavoidable death! Thanks! Don't be sorry to see my pathos in Swallow's nice joke, for she teaches me to take weapon of hatred. I only refused her advice. Hatred does not exist in my dictionary! Good luck!

Have you been hurt by love? I woulld like to ask you the same question. Being human beings in this world, every one has opportunities of being hurt and hurting others. "Love You Less Than Life" is sort of similar expression of "Love Myself". Are you not strong enough to admit that you have also been hurt by love? Good luck!

My God Fleur. Any one who has lived past 20 has been hurt by love. That is life, and the longer you live the more chance you have had of being hurt. In my case loss of love to death is the more appropriate. But that gentleman didn't give me too much chance to take a swing at him.
Rimpoche, don't you think you are shaving your chances with Fleur? Come on, it is obvious that she was the deserted one. You also have yet to learn that one person can destroy a relationship all on their own if they think they see something better, and don't recognize what they have. The sad one is always the injured one. My certainties? True, nothing is certain in life, but when you've lived long enough, and seen enough, then it is much easier to call the balls from the strikes.
Also Rimpoche, where children are involved yes, you had better keep things neutral. No need for the travails of the parents to be delivered upon the heads of the children. However for all of your saintliness, I have never seen a truly amicable breakup, and I don't think one ever has existed if honesty were to prevail.
Just listening to your reaction I would say that in your marriage breakdown you were the injuring party???

pretaamer, There are many books to read, many trends to assess, but marriage should always be unconditional love, how else can it work? In my day, "For better, for poorer, in sickness, and in health, until death do you part". Meant something, actually meant something. It meant you worked at creating a work of art, you didn't run when the paint spilled.
I will go easy to my death, because I know I lived that, I was there through it all, and at the end. I have no patience with the "new ways". They make it so complicated now, when it is so very simple.

One more thing about certainties Davinci. They do exist you know in spite of your opinion, which is a certainty!. Death is certain, taxes are certain, disease is certain, wars are certain, disabilities are certain, injustice is certain, many more things are certain, you just have to live long enough to discover them all.
