Life Is a Fiction!
I am reading one, translating one and
writing one.
In dreams I hear my own high laughters rather than cries.
Pretty good.
There is no good fiction or bad fiction, there are but full of chances and coincidences.
"Only in the maze of fortuity can the more real fictional life be found." - Haruki Murakami
p.s. Who has read his 'Chance Traveler', 'Hanalei Bay' and 'A Shinagawa Monkey'?

As a young girl, I was very interested in kong gu (Cantonese, means ‘telling story’; my grandpa, sister and me swarmed beside the radio to listen to Zhang Yuekai (a renowned story-teller in Cantonese) telling the classics of ‘the Legend of Great Tang Dynasty’, ‘Water Margin’, among others.
Now I kong gu (Cantonese, means ‘talk about stocks’ with ppl everyday. Big elephant, China Life, China Petrol, Communication Bank, Zijin Gold Mining…
It is due to the change of era, of the world, or myself? …Down to earth…
How come we always miss the past, dislike the present, and seldom kong ( tell/talk) abt the future.
How Come we always miss the life of other places, dislike the on-going here-life, and never mention the prospect.
Just some random thoughts.
Ps. Whoever has cash, pls buy the gu (stocks) I kong (mentioned), sure win. ‘The coming 20 years is for China.’

To P.
Gorgeous sunshine You head on the pine Mind’s eyes can’t open wide Albeit phone rings high
So bright out there So dark in here You are here ‒ slumbering I am there ‒ mumbling
Same umbrella Different handle (You’re mahogany I’m fir) Same human Different scenario (I’m toiling you’re free)
Breeze the willow, willow… Tweak the lilo, lilo…
(hehe…I make it into a remix of Mandarin and Catonese, fun! Pls read loud with me

Intelligency and Beauty, What You Prefer?

This question is more for men. I wonder what would be the majority answer. For women, we are quite clear, a man's intelligency matters much more than his phisical beauty. But for men, if I ask you to choose either, would you be in a dilemma?
Last night I happened to watch a TV program. The MC went overseas to visit and interview those Hong Kong retired stars from 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, on a frank and friendly basis. It offers audience a glimpse into these eras and the charistma of the last generation artists.
This edition was an interview for a jazz singer. She's still charming in her fifties. She chose to marry a versatile musician at the peak of her career among many capable and wealthy chasers. But still the marriage resulted in divorce.
...
When asked her findings abt maintaining successful relationship, she said gently, facing a beautiful Alantic,
'Let the man be number one.', which implies, woman should let herself be behind her man.
It struck me and impressed me a lot, when it was muttered fm this wonderful woman after a lifelong practice in her married and single-again love-life.
I dont know in western society. In Chinese, there's a negative saying, "Incapacity is a virtue for women." And I look around, most intelligent women are still single and most 'silly' (no bad intention) women are married.
For guys, having an intelligent girlfriend/wife, especially one that more intelligent and rich than him, is kind of pressure and low esteem. Is this generally true?
If it is true, I should be always pretending to be a silly woman when i meet my favorite guy. By this I still have chance. If I fully display all my potential capacities, I would scare him away.
What is your measure for this?
p.s. I think I am intelligent at least at one point, that is, not to get married.

What is Profanity ??

My yesterday's post " For How Long You Havent Counted the Stars" was catagorized as Profanity. But silly as I am, how could I find out the Profanity contained therein?
To get it released, my big head was forced to figure below three points out and to edit it:
1) Fm Original: lay your arms onto his/hers To: Ring your arms with his/hers
Why? To lay, the arms are free to go further, which Chinese FriendFinder may think the arms will bring Profanity to the two bodies; but to ring, we cant set arms/hands free for any active Profanity.
2) Fm Original: the philosopher will stop thinking To: the philosopher will pause
Why? Big profanity! How dare you Swallow sentence the thinking death of the philosopers? You are a terrorist to our community! By changing to 'Pause', OK, just let them have a rest. You are not very dangerous.
3) Fm Original: the philosophy will stop working To: the philosophy will be torn Why? Same as no. 2. Less degree, less harm.
But tell me, i am very innocent, though I made the above self-examination, i still dont know what 'profanity' is!

Three Smugglers or Illegal Immigrants Running across Us

Yes.
We saw them around 10pm-11pm on a beach in Macau. And we happened to help them to escape the police, not by our will, but by chance.
They were three skinny guys - of our ppl, running nakely and toiling on the sands, holding clothes up on their hands, after abandoning the boat when the police patrol boat found their smuggling boat.
They disappeared into the darkness while the police boat approached the shore and the plice cars started their warning speakers on the highway above the beach. We were still there. The police boat shedded their fierce light on us, for they thought we were the escapers or their contacts.
What is criminal? Criminal is these skinny guys who ran scaringly away fm the police, just to make a humble living.
What's life? ....................

For how long you havent counted the stars?
For how long you havent looked up to the blue sky?
For how long you havent lied down on a rock?
For how long you havent seen a boat sailing?
For how long you havent listened to the heartbeat?
For how long you will have guts to take her/his hands?
For how long you will have courage to ring your arm with his/hers?
For how long it takes the cresent to disappear?
For how long it takes the journey to appear?
For how long the philosopher will pause?
For how long the philosophy will be torn?

Finally I whisper, 'so happy to see you!' I am feeling your warmth and heat in my bikini.
Then you embrace me, Raise me up on the wave Till flowing high in the sky, with a comfortable 'hey, hey'.
You tickle me with your moisture and coolness, pat me on my shinning body. My right shoulder is lighter, the left disappears.
Oh, you bring back from Pacific and Pearl muddy brown paste to mask my feet, black sands to dot my chest and hip.
Finally I start my rave, 'so happy to feel you!' I am seeing all your nakeness in my bikini.
