Heart bleeds but still can carry on?

At any time, sentimental hearts are saddened at parting each other, so unbearable especially in this lone, chilly autumn, when the early morning wind blows and the waning moon shines above the poplar-and-willow shore. - Liu Yong's Song Poem "Yu Lin Lin"

Yes. When your loving heart parts.

In this year's World Cup , we've seen several really bloody football matches - most recent Switzerland v Korea. The lads bleed in their eyes/head, they still carried on. A famous football commentator eulogized the Swiss player as a bleeding heart. True it's his heart carries his bleeding body on.

In love, if the heart bleeds still can carry on? so as to honor Love like you've never been hurt? as the players honor athleticism the bleeding hearts honor loveism.

Would the good shaped body susbtain the bleeding heart?

Loving Virus

Even virus hits human weakness - love and sex.

These days often receive virus email w/ subjects like "Pls be my valentine", "To my beloved", "Love message", "Let's have a wonderful date." etc.

Virus inventors are good psychologists, if you fall for the loving virus, you'll get burnt.

So be wary, compliments for love and sex is as poisonous as virus, and as dangerous as the candy bombs American threw to Baghdad. And vice versa, some love and sex is as poisonous as virus, as sweet as compliments and as dangerous as the candy bombs.

Why Chinese like gambling that much? #1 - phenomena

Economic prediction says World Cup would boost a total of tens of billions illegal gambling in mainland China, .

W/t China, football gamble is legal only in Macau and Hong Kong. Present days, many ppl talk abt bet on which team and how to bet. Ppl blend watching and gambling into the matches and ignite great enthusiasm. Guys bet then sit up watch overnight. Puffing bear eyes many have got!

China forbids gamble but government has no way to put off gambling fire. Rich ones go to Macau, Las Vegas or even surrounding countries like North Korea, Laos but w/ China restraining convenient vent for Chinese tourists, they are dyeing out; low players gamble at home, so many underground stations collect bets. Aside fm football, there's a game called Special Number popular in South China. It follows the result of the special number fm Hong Kong's Mark Six. But it has a diversification of playing. Ppl are crazy on this and the bet can be as small as 0.5 yuan. It eats up poor ppl's sweat money.

An entertainment and social form - Majhong - (can i say it a sort of Chinese Chess?) have regained its popularity and swept over China these years. Chinese also transform it into gambling. Play w/ money surely brings more fun. We (pls exclude me but incl. my father) can play Mahjong day and night, tirelessly. That "kualakuala" sound will be singing anytime in any Chinese neighborhood.

Nowadays, , you will see hard-battling Chinese domaining the scene at overseas casinos. I have a younger friend studying in Liverpool. He and Chinese students often go gambling. A friend working at a Birmingham casino hotel says most of the gambling are Chinese.

Chinese's liking for gamble can be traced back to ancient time. Gamble on cocks, birds even crickets was hot. In Qing dynasty, ppl gambled on which family names (e.g. Li,Wang or Zhang) could be outstanding in the provincial or national imperial examinations.

Today, American gaming companies such as Wynne and Sands flock to Macau eyeing at China and Chinese. Every company sets up a China Marketing Dept. Singapore has conceded a gambling license to Sands recently. Who are their targets? International gamblers? No doubt Chinese will not fall short.

Why Chinese like gambling that much? Turn to #2

(Just now received a call for my idea for tonight's matches Germany-Ecuador, Poland-Costa Rica. I seldom gamble on WC this year, no money and inspiration. Remember, little gambling is entertaining; big gambling is devastating

Hawking and all men's Curiosity abt Women

Hawking, the great contemporary scentist w/ his theory "Origin of Universe", when asked what he wants most to know in his life, during his speech in HK last day, answered:

Women. On top of others, eg., what's inside the black hole and how human race can survive the next 100 years.

Is woman egnima? for this talented Hawking who has known the origin of universe as well as for all his fellow men in the universe?

But women rarely raise such exclamation as:

Men, you are hard to perceive!

Maybe they complicate women and we simplify men. Be wary and dont be cheated by either side.

Too Old? or Ageism...

Zidane and his French Squad inspire this post.Football fans or non-fans must know this big name.

In some professional fields exist ageism and age limitation. There's so called youth-career.

For model, 30 is too old; for dancer, same; for sportsman, same; for many Chinese companies, women over 30 is hard to be accepted as new recruiter unless you have special qualification; for women over in China, 30 is too old...

With a goaless draw w/ Switzerland, commentators and critics blame on Zidane:

An British paper comments on Zidane:
"Has not lost the ability to spot a pass, but lacks the dynamism to control a match."

Our local TV commentators: Is getting old and loses all speed.

Many media critics lament on Zidane's blunt performance, lack of magician and scorn at the French ageing squad w/ five 30 something players therein.

Totally unfair, just bcoz ppl is victory-oriented. The judging gauge: Winner is king; loser is bandit.

Zidane is one of my favorite superstars. He's calm, cool, never rushing. A graceful ballet dancer and composed general in the green field. In the WC match, he still did very good pass and strike. Being the centered victim for fouls, he would never be irritated.

Luis Figo, 33, Portugal won 1, nobody laugh on his age and he's selected best player for that match. Czech won 3 and they also have several over 30-y-o players. Their age is forgotten.

This rule works too:

Towards failure, there will be 1000 voices offering opinions; on success, only silence or one voice - congra!

Why show me as a silver member on AFF?

Why?

I never pay. I seldom visit sb's profiles. I make very few uses of its many functions. I am not desperately looking for hus. or bfs or companion here. (Today recvd an offer for a travel companion in Shanghai.)

I only blog here and comment once in a while if the topic moves me to do so.

Why put me as a silver member and impose the silver hat on me?

It makes my head uncomfortable , an extra thing. You know, i like being free of extras.

What gold and silver membership mean here?

Finding an answer: rain, umbrella and love

Crazy rain season here. It harms to some places in China.

Quite often i am stuck somewhere as i never like carrying an umbrella; quite often i manage it by my means, a bit wet but cool.

However, some extrodinary ocassion I would like an umbrella.

One night, just 2-3 minutes walk away fm home, stopped by a suddent overwheming storm under a shelter. I held my breath upon seeing the nature's power of pouring, lightning, and hearing its terrific thunder. Fragility grasped me there. I wanted an umbrella. Yet who would send me an umbrella? And i would not call anybody out to this dangerous storm, should it be lover, family or friend. At last, i had to run home after 40mins wait, rain water hanging on face and hair.

But i'd like to know your answer to this quest:

If on a rainy moment, your gf/bf phone you and ask you to deliver an umbrella since they are in your neighborhood. Would you do accordingly?

This is a test. It's rainning outside.

Love that costs life

I ask the world, what is the thing love that makes people vow with life and death? ‒ extracted fm a Chinese Song poem

In feudalistic time, free love was not allowed, that’s why we have the Butterfly legend; in contemporary time, the society is much more free but still we have stories of how lovers sacrifice lives to worship love. So miserable!

Two cases:

1. A couple of young lovers of Yunan, the girl, 18, died of accident. Firstly, her boyfriend held a wedding ceremony w/ her dead body in the hospital; later then, the boy committed suicide right in front of her grave. Finally, they were buried together.

2. In my hometown a city in Guangdong, two young student just graduated fm middle school fell in love. But got opposition fm the parents citing that they were too young to love. Desperately, during their dating on the riverside, the girl jumped into the river. To rescue his girlfriend, the boy also jumped. But in vain, two bodies floated up days later. What a disastrous sorrow it is to their parents, who crazily hunted for them during their disappearance.

In ancient time, love that costs life was such a helpless thing. But nowadays, it’s a sign of weakness and narrow mind. Not that love is too deep, but that vision is not far. Not that how affectionate the love is, but that love is mis-interpreted. After all, under current social circumstances, there’s some way out. One step forward or backward would have made a difference.

Or, becoz of being young, love is so pure that cant bear a sand and even life? I am sighing for this kind of love that costs life, is it becoz I am old and worldly?
