Shooting the breeze

Just had a good conversation with my brother. One of the things that bothers me, sometimes, about his is long winded recitals is that you can't seem to get a word in edge-wise. He seems to have it all figured out. I think I finally made my point, but we'll see.

When we get into a topic, he tries to explain "everything" right down to the last detail. I always tell him you don't let people think for theirselves. We get the gist. We got it from about the first two sentences of you opening your mouth. Its that detailed.

Don't get me wrong. I love'm. He's my bro. I guess that is why I can sit here and say this.

People, sometimes it is good to sit and listen. You may never know what you gain from it. If your spout is always pouring, and never getting refilled, sooner or later ur gonna run out. Or, your friends will. We should always be more cautious in two-way traffic.

Hooray for the hoopla!

heh my sis does that too. Most of the time i have very little patience to hear her talk non-stop. Its not only non-stop but its super detailed. She will tell u every single steps of instructions that u need to do too. hmmm... odd...i wonder how people can develop this unique behaviour? Still, hes your brother. She is my sister. Sometimes i told her off and it hurts her. Guess when u told her off a couple of times, then she gets your message.

I remember this quote by John Wayne: "Talk low, talk slow and don't talk too much."

Yes, anything gets spoiled if overdone.

Hi fun_date, Neon, toukki, Aura and Rejoice:

A close used to tell me, there is no more fun left if every one can just read through you like an open book. Nothing to keep the other one from holding the line! I learned it the hard way!

I salute you all!
