Daddy Long Leg's At this time of year there is just no escaping their lolloping into every window, wall, light or person that gets in their way. There seems to be hundreds of the wretched things this year, wobbling around on their erratic flight path straight to my face, making me instinctively flail my arms in the air desperately trying to defend myself from their relentless gangly long legged attack’s. Swiping them with the back of my hand or the nearest newspaper, and occasionally accidentally detaching a leg or two from their pathetically weak bodies. Which makes me dislike them even more, as I have to dispose off the dismembered limb or limb’s that become scattered around the battlefield that was once a lounge a bedroom or a kitchen. You’d think that with evolution and all, the one’s that do manage to survive to lay larvae would somehow evolve and warn their off spring, that they only have a short life span any way they have no real purpose in life except to copulate and become spider fodder, so stay away from the human’s face’s or they will twat you with what ever comes to hand and break you into tiny little bits.

Hi Pest, The little buggers are a pain in the a**e ain't they? I think there is a good chance we may both get our come-uppance in our next life's.....Oh blimey I hope we don't come back as Daddy Long Leg's.....

hi would you believe it, just saw a big one up on the ceiling, yuck!! looks like it is dead and some of its legs are missing.....it is not moving! zaxk

it is worst, it is just above where i sit to watch tv, and it was gone today when I looked, search around but could not find it. vacuum the place and went for a bath. hope we will see the last of those....... zaxk
