Last Song Syndrome

There’s nothing nicer than a tune playing in your head ‒ until you can’t turn it off. I’m sure everybody else experienced this sort of thing. People around here called this LSS or Last Song Syndrome. I don’t know if you guys heard about this.

Last Song Syndrome ‒ when the last song you hear plays like a broken record inside your head and you find yourself singing that song over and over again.

This could get annoying and embarrassing especially if people around you notice that you have been singing that song since morning until the end of the day heh… Well, today I’ve been singing the song “I Believe in You and Me” by Whitney Houston. I heard it last night over the radio, I got captured by the song, I loved the lyrics and voila I can’t get it off my head. I’m writing down the lyrics of this song here in my blog with high hopes that in doing this I will get cured from this syndrome.

I Believe in You and Me
(Whitney Houston)

I believe in you and me
I believe that we will be
In love eternally
Well as far as I can see

You will always be the one for me
Oh yes you will
And I believe in dreams again
I believe that love will never end
And like the river finds the sea
I was lost, now I’m free
Cos’ I believe in you and me

I will never leave your side
I will never hurt your pride
When all the chips are down
See I will always be around
Just to be right where you are
My love, you know I love you boy

I will never leave you out
I will always let you in
To places no one’s ever been
Deep inside, can’t you see
That I believe in you and me

Maybe I’m a fool
To feel the way I do
But I will play the fool forever
Just to be with you forever

I believe in miracles
And love’s a miracle
And yes baby you’re my dream come true
I was lost, now I’m free
I believe in you and me
See I was lost, now I’m free
’cause I believe in you and me.
