Unconditonal Love...Any Such Thing?

Love is blind. Oh yeah, it is 100 years ago. Now love is not blind anymore. At least that's what I think...

So, is there such thing as unconditional love between man and woman?

What is 'unconditional love'? Perhaps it is easier to understand the meaning of unconditional love by defining what 'conditional love' is.

I will love you if....you stop smoking.
I will love you if....you care for me.
I will love you if...you want to work hard.
I will love you if...you like travelling with me.
I will love you if...if...if...if...
That is my 'conditions' if you want me to love you. That is 'conditional love'

Then, is there such thing as 'unconditional love'????

Born, the best description of love I've heard so far was made by oasis when he mentioned a Buddhist saying, Love is nothing.

I took it to mean, when we truly love, i.e unconditional love, we do not; think, judge or discriminate....we simply give all we have without ever asking for anything in return. The closest we will probably ever get to love is with our children, as in parental love.

But as apostle says, It is an ideal we strive for.....but that's not to say, unless we love unconditionally we have failed in love, as long as we try our best, I believe that to be good enough.

Yes, we can love unconditionally our children or our parents or brothers or sisters, but it is really difficult, almost impossible , to practise unconditional love between a man and a woman .

Many people say "People change.."

I remember the Bible saying "Only God that never change"

Unlike a God, humans are not perfect, but we have a choice, either to; learn, change and become better human beings or to live under the false premise that we are perfect, never change and waste our whole adult life.
