You know you are in Asia.............when................ you give a lecture everyone is quiet and no one has questions. where signs, marks and lights on the street doesn't have a specific meaning. you eat soup for breakfast and after dinner. lunch is, spot on, served 3 minutes after you ordered. everything you say or wear is "interesting". the pretty women look at you as you are an alien directly from hell. all sorts of alcoholic liquids are more expensive than their equivalent in pure gold. the hotel you are staying is super de luxe. everybody is rushed and busy. pizza have all sorts of exotic toppings. you sit in a fast food restaurant and wonder why you never go there in your home country. 5 minutes after a refreshing shower you gonna sweat again. French food is defined as a boiled carrot with a potato. Good lord, i love Asia so much. |
