Pending...

It appears the future of Chinese FriendFinder is pending. With recent changes, one must pay to read messages, both old and sent. This (in my opinion) is a knife in the back to this website and will negatively affect membership. Hopefully, the management of Chinese FriendFinder will reconsider and change back to the way it was.

Great that you guys said that. I had the same problem and thought that was only me. The website should really consider the importance of free service, otherwise no one will join the membership again in the future!

if the promote everything free, they will certainly add 1000% advertising to the site.
The thing that makes it unique of all the sites is they have managed over the years to perform and provide this service with many free attributes, especially the blogs and magazines, without any advertisements.
they have a good IT team, because it cost money to avoid being hacked, it is fairly well self contained and remains independent in the sense it is not controlled by the advertisers.

if people utilize the blogs for general interacting, it will promote people getting to know each other and of each other, then when they make personal contact they will then see the value of paying to do so.

It is far better than Facebook, because face book profiles and sell everything about you to anyone who will buy their advertisements and pay to advertise on their site.

Here, you don't have to trip about connecting with someone and they are connected to 100 other people who inadvertently become connected to you.

don't know what information they sell, but for many free members, there is not a whole lot they can sell.

I bought a program like this, but I did not have time to monitor it and did not have the skills to block hackers to the level I needed, and someone from China hacked into looking for data base info... and they screwed up the site, I just have not bothered to reload it or fix it. But it has a control panels that is manageable with a staff of IT people who have the right tools to do so.

Enjoy what you can, it is one of the few sites that has survived this long without being over taken by advertisements.

CMIC, standard members cannot read old messages. I suppose the new messages will have the same fate.
I used to get a few unsolicited messages every week. Now, I have none.
The list of people who viewed my profile only shows an icon with a question mark, so I have no idea who has been looking.
Very drastic difference now.

I'm delighted to see Chinese FriendFinder has reverted back to the 'normal' format.

CMIC, I believe standard members get points for the number of winks received and for posts and blog comments. You can redeem these points to send messages where you would normally be blocked.

Good system... That works for me!
