McRib is pork + 69 other ingredients...

McDonalds has brought back the McRib sandwich and Yahoo did a story about the 'cult success' of this manufactured pork sandwich. Packed with 500 calories and 980 grams of salt, you can download the actual list of ingredients from the McDonalds website.

I noticed they are back on the menu in South Florida and there's a link to find out if they are available in your neighborhood.

What scares me the most is they actually taste good!

I don't like it. when it first came out I tried it, and it seem like a conglomeration of waste portion of the pig, that someone came up with the idea to grind it together and shape it.

It's about as bad as "pink slime".

Meat today has too much chemicals and growth hormones among many other things which I am unfamiliar with. pigs, chicken, and cows do not naturally grow as fast as the industrial entities force them to grow. Many of the same animals never are given the space nor time in nature to develop naturally. without artificial means via a variety of methods.

I do not eat a lot of meat.. yes, I do eat it, but it is not a daily thing that I care to have at every meal and when I do, I try to make the portions small enough so my body can process it.

I noticed that if I eat Steak... for three days I don't feel so great and its like the stuff spoils within. I don't frequently choose to eat it.

I didn't like the BBQ sauce they splash on them, but the 'meat' flavor is actually good. I'd like to remember it that way as I doubt I'll eat another one.
