Your lieability is making you a liability... to me.

我的同事是一位病理学的说谎的人。 这正阻止。 我不能使他是诚实的。

There's a pathological liar in my office. The boss has already warned him if he continues to lie to the customers, he will be fired. Hardly a day goes by where I haven't caught him in a lie and remind him of the warning from the boss. The part I dislike most is his lies often reflect on me. My credibility has been compromised simply by association with him as I'm project manager for many of his jobs.

It's really annoying to go over an order with a customer and hearing them tell me things that are (supposedly) included but not on the contract or salesman's takeoff. They insist it was in the "salesman's pitch" of what was included in the order. I end up "throwing it in free" for undocumented requests because our know they can call the boss and complain and get their way anyway.

This weekend, I'm making a SIMPLE FORM for exclusions. Right... contract exclusions are more important than inclusions. If the customer is responsible to repaint after the new kitchen is installed, it will be noted on the form so I won't get the phone call later that we forgot to repaint the kitchen... and the dining room and the living room, because we all know you cannot match new paint to the old paint to THEIR satisfaction.

Your lieability is making you a liability...

situational challenges always leads to innovations.
You've improved the process.... sell the improvement based on an innovative progressive method, not agitation about what led to the innovation.
Best of Luck.

I had at one time set up a home improvement and modification business in CA. the guys kept telling homeowners extra stuff they could do, I constantly reminded the customer these things were not included, the guys resulted to lock themselves into doing these things for no charge.
I eventually dissolved the business, because I could see they would eventually lead into a lawsuit... there is nothing that can get one in more trouble and a bad name, quicker than "contractor promises", that are too impractical to deliver.
