Things that annoy me # 42,150...

Some may think it's trivial but I'm often driving 600 miles (960km) per week. Driving is and important part of my life. Let's say I'm the first car at a red light. My eyes are focused on the light for cross traffic so I will know (in advance) when my light will turn green. However, the INSTANT it turns green, someone from behind is tooting their horn as though I'm holding up traffic.

That's when I 'go into action' and let my foot off the brake ever so s l o w l y because I'm no longer interested in the jack rabbit start I had initially planned.

Thanks for reading my blog!

It is never good to take off soon as the light turns green, one has to insure that others are not moving trying to move fast through a yellow light or those who are willing to run a red light.
SAFETY FIRST, is the mandate. The matter is to arrive at the destination 'Safe and with regards for the Safety of others".

Practicing Defensive Driving is Critical to Being a Good Driver.

Avoid becoming a victim due to the aggressive nature of other drivers.
Aggressive Driving is a Ticket-able Offense, Road Rage is a Felony Offense.

Agreed, agreed and I do use discretion at intersections. It's the ones that seem to be red forever and everyone is impatient to get through.

Trusty, on a similar situation, I was first at a red light and struck from behind. I got out of my car to see what happened and three cars behind me were also hit. It seems a woman plowed into us. I held up 4 fingers and said "You hit four cars lady" in broken English she replied "Soddy, I soddy"

Yeah, you go directly to heaven for that comment.
Isn't it amazing ? I bought a new car this year and already experienced someone taking the spot directly next to me at the far end of the lot wit no other cars around.

I think they teach that in night school.
