She is wearing a wedding dress... why? I may have blogged this before, but I don't understand the cultural significance of a Chinese woman showing profile photos wearing a wedding dress. While a wedding is their ultimate goal, there are many steps before and after that significant day. American folklore says it's bad luck for the groom to see his bride (to be) wearing a wedding dress before the ceremony. That seems to complicate Eastern and Western customs... doesn't it? I was scanning photos today and found at least three profiles where the woman is dressed for a wedding, complete with head dress and bouquet. I've seen many profiles where the woman says she is patiently waiting for her man... but wearing a wedding dress while you wait (I think) is a bit much. Don't you agree? |

probably an ( match up) agency who told the women to bring pictures in a Wedding Dress.
