Eggers...
I've helped many Chinese friends pronounce English words and they all seem to be stuck with the word eggs.

Egg is one syllable, therefore eggs must be two... right?

Wrong...

It's not eg-gers, it's eggs... one syllable.

Eggs... say it again... eggs.
