Robin Williams

Born: July 21, 1951, Died: August 11, 2014
Actor, Comedian, alcoholic...
The news stories reported that Robin Williams died of an apparent suicide.
For decades he had fought addictions to drugs an alcohol.
Now... it looks as though everyone is looking for answers to the underlying causes to his depression.
I say it was his success. What else could it have been?
He was immensely successful in his career.
His suicide was a result of his overwhelming success. That's my opinion...

As for all of us, we have to come to terms with life. Happiness will not mean one is smiling and laughing all the time, nor does it mean one is jovial nor melancholy..
We watch commercials and media and they try and define happiness and we chase that delusion, and try and measure our lives by it, and it is never a pleasant outcome.
Happiness involves, the facing of challenges, the working our way through doubts, and dealing with the many feeling that make up living, the sad moments, help us know we can still feel and care, as well as the glad moments help us know we can still feel and care.

Addictions are many things and has many twist and turns, but we all face a variety of addictions, as our habits generally get the best of many moments in our living. We carry on, to know that its all in the making of us, if we simply continue. God does not depart from us, we may turn from God, but when we turn back around, we find he has been there all along, we must know this, and first and foremost each day, give praise to God for another day, and pray that through all our challenges, Gods grace will help us through. That does not mean it won't come with works involved, because it is a great work within ourselves, to learn to let go and trust in God.
We can not afford at any time, by any means to give up on God, for it is our faith that will lead us through the darkest times, and it is our belief that will keep our faith moving forward if only we do not choose to loose ourselves in our longing for the fiction of happiness. and know simply that Living is the basis of Happiness, and Trust in Gods Truths is what gives us the moments we can smile, as well as the feelings and care that brings us to cry. We may rejoice that we are made whole in our faith... Keep it strong, and when it feels weak, we may choose to get down on our knees and reflect, refocus and give thanks for many things.....

Success at endeavor or craft is always and will always be a double edge sword, as too it is like a two way street, with hills to climb and valleys to traverse. It is never what it is cranked up to be, nor is it lesser than what it is in what it has to give. Once cannot get caught up in it, nor lost in it, and certainly it is not the measure of the whole of an individual. No matter how much money one has, or many other things, if one does not find peace within self, they remain poor and destitute in spirit and eventually their soul shall feel barren. We can find much of life in and through 'grace", giving grace and being appreciative of the grace we have in simply the gift of living.

Intoxicants are always like walking through life with a mask on ones face. eventually, when one looks in the mirror, they fail to see themselves, and only see the mask and it disenchants them, because they know it is only what they have hidden behind, rather than facing and accepting self as a unique individual and appreciating the basics of life and living.

My his spirit find peace.
