Rapeseed and Canola oil My wife and I were looking at photos of fields of yellow flowers and I said it was rapeseed. she agreed there were many fields of flowers in China produced for market. I did a quick research that showed the rapeseed is also known as Canola oil, but I have some suspicions to the accuracy of this information. We are heading out today on some visits and I'll get back to this blog to supplement any of my new research. If you know about these flowers, please add some comments. Thanks!

SF, I ran across a Snopes article (long winded detailed article at that) debunking claims the rapeseed oil was toxic. Busy week ahead but I'll try to actually read the story.
