Tomato cage... My grandfather grew tomatoes in his yard and used sticks with bailing wire to hold the plants. We've got one plant large enough for support. I see 4 green tomatoes that are nearly 1" (25mm) in size on it and I did research to see what people are using to hold tomatoes on the vine. Home depot sells a few different products for this as a tower or cage where you can use foam covered twist-tie wire to support the tomatoes. I'm ready! I would guess we can get some vegetables in 2 months or less! . the photo in my blog is reference and NOT from my garden. . |

Which end of the cone is up? Some of the catalog photos show it both ways. I would think the tapered part is at the top. Yes?

SF, that's something I cannot visualize. Are you hanging the planters from a horizontal pole?
