Dumpster Diving... I recently read a story about people who look through the trash of others for perfectly good things others have deemed as junk. Years ago, there was a music store near me who would toss out stuff that didn't sell... for example a case of off-brand guitar strings. Maybe they were old stock but I had no problem using them. I found lots of uses for instrument cases they discarded. Some were new, wrapped in plastic in the original cardboard shipping box. As they say... "One mans trash is another mans treasure" |
