Name dropping... There are some people who appear to be addicted to name dropping. They cannot say, something without using a name brand or link to an important person or event, especially if it's irrelevant to the conversation. I heard a woman refer to calling her on her iPhone when cellphone would have been appropriate. I want to talk to you... what cellphone you choose to use has no bearing on what we have to discuss. Jogging after work? Let me get my Nike's on... See my point? What's wrong with saying running shoes or sneakers. |
