Yonder...


A lot of Southern Americans use the word yonder and I thought I would look up the definition.

It's confusing because yonder refers to an unspecified distance from 'over there' within sight, to an estimated distance beyond the horizon or field of vision. An example would be "They moved over yonder, just past the railroad tracks."
