Ice Cream... Last night I was going over some word study with my wife explaining that timing and expression has a totally different effect on what other people actually hear. When we were and my parents were taking us for ice cream, my brother and I would chant: I scream, You scream, We all scream for ice cream... The difference in sound is so subtle to someone learning English that I scream and ice cream sounds the same. |
