Buggers...

A few (dozen) blogs ago I mentioned some Chinese people pronounced the word eggs as eggers. As far as I know, It has something to do with plural sounds. Similar, I've heard Australians use the word buggers for various meanings... including bugs.
My wife often says buggers for bugs. She learned this word in China and said her teacher called bugs... buggers.

Some time ago I was chatting with a friend who mentioned 'skeeters' that came around rainy season. I had to ask if her American boyfriend (who was teaching her English) came from the South. Puzzled she replied. Yes, how did you know?
That was simple as the slang word for mosquito is skeeter and only used by people from the South.

Thanks daisy... My wife was here and I pulled it up on youtube.
Although I cannot speak any Chinese, it's a beautiful melody and the imagery didn't require any translation.
