Kosher...

"Kosher" is a Hebrew word that means fit or proper as it relates to Orthodox Jewish dietary law.

The street term, kosher describes a person who is honest or runs an honest business.

When talking about a businessman who isn't kosher you could expect they would do dishonest things... like taking foods that are near the expiration date and repackaging them with different dates to make you believe the product is fresh.

I recently read that the Beats headphones aren't kosher because they are packed in expensive boxes and the product contains metal weights hidden inside the headphones giving the illusion of a high-end product when in reality (according to the review) they aren't. Call it marketing or scam... it's all how you perceive things.

Less than 10 years ago people were more interested in mini, light weight, compact, super portable earbuds with great sound and not full-sized headsets.
