I don't look twice for motorcycles... It's not possible. Sorry. Sunday morning, on my way to work. Traffic was very light and I was on the highway doing the speed limit of 65mph driving in the 2nd lane of 4 just about even with the car to my right (lane 3) when a motorcyclist shot between us. The lanes are wide enough to pull this off... probably 5 or 6 feet between cars and though it was clear on the right side of the other car, this motorcyclist thought it safe to split between us going an estimated 100 to 120mph weaving around cars and was beyond sight within a few seconds. This happened literally in the blink of the eye so it's not possible to prepare for stunts like that and that explains why I don't look twice for motorcycles. |

The best thing to do is if your slowing traffic down then move to the right let the faster traffic go. Many U.S. states have laws stating that if your driving slower than the rest of traffic you must move over to the right lane. Also Min. speed limits are posted so if you go too slow the cops will pull you over for blocking traffic. Just let those kamikaze pilots on the fast motorcycles go by safely so they don't hit you. Remember slower traffic keep right. Also I'm a member of the National Motorists association & the AMA. LL in VA

Yes mostly crotch rockets are doing that including in MIAMI.on I-95. Your Average Harley Davidson Rider who spent a lot of money on his ride won't do that. I heard that it also happens in China & Japan but not in North Korea because they ban all bikes & motorcycles.
