Yes, you are correct. Often you can find them on I/M with their new profiles... not something an inexperienced member would do.

Or anyone from Alkmaar, Netherlands or Aldershot, England. Is there a reason scammers use the same towns/cities over and over?

Also curious: why do so few members use the IM feature? It seems to me the best way to actually "meet" people other than direct email, which has a very low response rate. Thoughts?
