Food and drink prices at the Super Bowl...

I was reading a story this afternoon that food and drink prices at the Super Bowl were five to seven times more than their normal price.

Thirty dollars for a bucket of popcorn!
Fifteen bucks for a cheeseburger.
Eight dollars for French fries.
Seven dollars for bottled water.
Seven dollars for a soda.

many of the people who can afford the tickets, hotels and all the other things which go into the time frame of the event, probably don't care much about the cost of event products. (There's a lot of people who have a great deal of money )

I have been to Championship fights and also to the baseball world series. The prices are exorbitant but not near as bad as the Super Bowl. The most outrageous to me, when you consider the venue, is the movie theaters. The food costs more than the movie tickets and it is all junk food.
