A REEL NICE BLOG... My brother (who lives in Dayton, OH) usually comes to Miami every other year. He's got 2 adult boys living in South Florida and often spends a week taking in the sights when he visits. He likes fishing. As long as I can remember, he and his friends would fish. Sometimes from the pier, sometimes on a bridge and once or twice he 'went on safari' in the Florida Everglades national park! A few years ago, he and family spent the day at sea on a charter boat for fishing. Usually the complaint is he doesn't catch many fish but he enjoys the relaxation and different scenery from Ohio, especially when he can escape from the snowy winter. It seems he wants to have a 'reel' good time fishing in Miami. My wife and I talked about fishing and buying all the gear needed to 'enjoy' something we could do once a month. My wife is a realist... she said let's go to the seafood market, buy fresh fish, go home and cook it. We don't need to spend money on fishing things! I agree. .
