Eating the skin of fried fish...

I considered making this a poll but blogs usually get better written responses.

I've always removed the skin of pan friend fish. My wife says it contains more nutrients and eats the skin. We usually buy a medium cut of fresh salmon each that is enough to feed us for 2 meals plus my lunch. I gladly offer the skin from my portion.

I did cook some tonight and made sure it was crispy. Trying a little it wasn't as bad as I thought... however, I only had one bite and spit the rest into a napkin!

MB, I avoid chicken skin too partly because of the fat and partly because rotisserie chickens often have too much salt.

Living in S. Florida I fish a lot, I always remove fish skin. It doesn't add to the flavor and many fish skins ruin the taste of the meat.
My dog, a Husky, loves fish scraps, So he gets the benefit of the Omega 3's and fatty proteins.
