For Asian women who want to immigrate to USA or any other countries, you have to willing to be assimilated. I didn't marry to a "foreigner", but a Taiwanese dentist. However, I have to speak English at work as a pharmacist and he has to speak English to his patients. Our 2 kids were born in California and could speak Taiwanese and Mandarin when they were under 5, but they found out their parents can understand English and school taught them English, so they answered in English. Now my daughter is 28 will be a MD, my son is 26, they speak English perfectly and fluently. Not only marry to an English speaking person that makes you to learn English, but my profession made me to speak English. When I was full time pharmacist, I had to talk to MD's in English on phone daily. Having been in USA for 36+ years, I have been assimilated, not only the language but also daily jokes, current events, presidential election, economy, ...... in many aspects. Honesty is the best policy.

bella/daisy, it's good to see your return, I wondered where you were. The reason for the blog topic was an open response to the women who come here seeking an English speaking (usually) man and they write their profile in Chinese. I think it's safe to say only a small percentage on Western men know how to effectively use Chinese translation software and an even smaller percent who actually speak the language. An attractive woman who is a gold member was the idea for the blog.

Cavy, my advice is to avoid that link to upgrade your browser. My first guess is they make revenue when someone clicks the link. My suspicion is the browser they suggest could infect your computer with spyware. The last person to view my profile was 8-8-2016 Yes, something is wrong. About two months ago, I noticed many website changes and suspect the programmers did something wrong implementing the revisions and they aren't able to fix it.

Goodbye. I suggest you try pressing the control and + keys. It will zoom in and enlarge everything on your screen. That should remedy the visual problem you have. As far as your opinion that I post too many blogs... You have it wrong. The other members post too few blogs. Take notice as sometimes 4 or 5 days go by and no one else posts a blog. Sorry it bothers you that I carry the torch for blog activity here... Apathetic bloggers. Maybe that should be the next blog topic of mine. Thanks for the idea !! BK, it depends on who you ask. My wife speaks about 350 English words. Our communication is fine. Yes, there are times I rely on a translator, but that's only a few words a week. Some people I know online have expressed there must be something wrong with me as to why I'm not interested in a red-blooded American woman, yet others have praised me for accepting a woman from half way around the world with a totally different culture and to have the patience helping her assimilate into my world. This is really an extension of my blog topic as my wife has a few friends who married Americans and came to like in America. The difference is she studied English for many years prior to meeting me.

Lao, sometimes I read messages from my cellphone and understand the difficulty. I believe all smartphones have the ability to enlarge (or reduce) fonts by the up/down volume buttons on the side of the device. This is the solution for READING blogs and comments. That would also be the same solution for WRITING comments as the code for boldface is not realized until AFTER you post your comment. So what I am saying is writing a comment that will APPEAR IN BOLDFACE is the same as writing a comment in standard font. There is no visible difference until after you submit the post. Stating you have poor eyesight and require bold font to write your comment is not a correct/true statement.

Something interesting to mention is the profile I read that inspired this blog has changed. A gold member living in China now has photos of another woman and they moved to South Korea. I suspect fraud... or the first woman was lucky enough to meet someone and gave the profile to someone else.
