Hurricane Matthew. The update...

I got up early this morning to check the hurricane forecast and it's not pretty.
As I write this blog, the eye of hurricane Matthew is crossing the western tip of Haiti.
Reports are it's a category 4 storm with 145mph winds moving north at 9mph.
The latest prediction is it will continue moving north, northwest through The Bahamas and curve westward to the coast of Florida aimed at the center of the state, just south of Daytona sometime late Thursday or early Friday.

My plans are to delay going to work this morning and get to Home Depot for supplies and a chain saw. I know if I wait a day it will be a madhouse with people scrambling around buying up sheets of plywood.

So be it... gotta run.

If you live on the east coast of the US, I suggest you pay attention to this storm.

We're back...
Although not in a panic people are already getting prepared.
In Wal-Mart all the shelves where they store water are nearly empty.
Home Depot we saw people with packages of water... 2 and 3 high each with 24 bottles.
