Mac's funeral... I couldn't attend Mac's funeral in North Carolina, but I did have a chance to talk to his sister who arranged the cremation and get together with friends and family so they could carry out his final wish of sprinkling his ashes along the wooded area on the 2 acres of land where he lived for more than 20 years. Mac was a simple guy and only wanted two wishes granted: Slip away in his sleep and not suffer from a car wreck or something painful while conscious. That wish came true. To have his ashes be a part of the land he loved... and that wish also came true. . |
