The conjoined twins have been separated... Medical history was made this weekend as 13 month old Jadon and Anlas who were joined at the head went through a 16-hour surgery procedure to have them separated. The operation, called a craniopagus surgery, was performed at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York by Dr. James Goodrich and his team. According to the news story (I read) this is the 59th time since 1952 this type of surgery has been performed in the world.

New information this morning said the procedure was 20 hours and the team of medical professionals numbered 40.
